If you apply as a group of two, both students must complete the application and meet the eligibility criteria. Groups will be approved or denied together.

Medical Transfers
The Disability Access Office (DAO) evaluates requests for transfers based on medical reasons on a case-by-case basis.
Transfers between Houses for medical reasons are rare. If they are approved by the DAO, they do not guarantee you a specific House. If you need a medical transfer, schedule an appointment with the Disability Access Office.
Updating or Cancelling Your Application
Email the College Housing Office if you need to change or withdraw your application. Changes to an IHT application can only be made before the application deadline.

FAQ
Can I transfer to another house if I’m on a space-available waitlist?
No. If you are waitlisted for your House, you cannot apply to transfer to another House.
Will my housing accommodation be applied to my new House if my transfer is approved?
Housing accommodations already approved by the Disability Access Office (DAO) apply to all College Housing assignments regardless of whether a student has applied for a transfer.
If I’m approved for an IHT but cancel my housing for the next term, do I still need to move to my new house when I return?
Yes. An approved IHT student will return to their new house after being approved to return to campus housing and fill out a Returning Student Application.
If my transfer application is denied, can I apply again for an IHT in the next round?
Yes! You can apply for an IHT as many times as you wish.
What if I have a new housing access concern?
Contact the Disability Access Office (DAO) to discuss any housing access concerns.
How can I cancel or modify my IHT request?
Please email our office should you need to cancel or modify your IHT application.
